Antucura Cherie Sparkling Rosé NV

Grape: Pinor Noir
Region: Mendonza, Argentina

In the early 2000s, Argentine wine and viticulture flourished, leading to the establishment of Antucura estate and winery. Anne-Caroline Biancheri, a French entrepreneur, moved to Buenos Aires in the 1990s, later relocating her publishing house, Caviar Bleu, to Mendoza, a key wine region. Combining her publishing career with a passion for wine, Anne-Caroline played a role in Antucura’s development in Vista Flores, a promising grape-growing area. In the 2005 Guide to Wines and Wineries, she highlighted the unique synergy of soil, climate, and culture required to produce exceptional wine.

2023 Casa del Bosque

Grape: Sauvignon Blanc
Region: Casablanca, Chile
Retail: $16

Ranked Chile’s best producer, this Italian winemaker is producing striking cool climate single vineyard wines. The origin of our family of wines, which grows in harmony with the environment, and that we responsibly protect through sustainable practices, respecting and interacting with the Casas del Bosque ecosystem located in our estate on the Las Dichas side of Casablanca Valley

In addition, Alberto Guolo owns the winery Vini Monticello - Azienda Guolo in the Veneto region of Italy, a vineyard that was founded by his grandfather.

Drinking & pairing ideas: Ceviche, oysters, or grilled fish. Or a platter of all of it.

2021 Familia Bonfanti Joven

Grape: Malbec
Region: Mendoza, Argentina
Retail: $20

Bodega Bonfanti is a third-generation family winery in Perdriel, Lujan de Cuyo, Mendoza, Argentina, with a history dating back to 1915 when the great-grandfather acquired a Malbec vineyard. Known for its fresh, fruity "Joven" Malbec, the winery produces a young, tank-aged wine meant to be enjoyed immediately. The family-run operation includes Roberto managing the vineyard, Sebastian as the winemaker, and Alejandro handling the business. Additionally, they provide wine-making training to inmates to help them acquire skills for their release.

2022 Prisma Rosé

Grapes: 85% Pinot Noir, 15% Cinsault
Region: Casablanca Valley, Chile

These 100% hand-harvested, estate wines show the true expression of the Casablanca Valley. This collaborative project between Brazos and Grupo Belen began with the idea to showcase the unique terroir of the Casablanca Valley. The valley produces vibrant and fresh wines due to the coastal, cool nature of the vineyards. The estate consists of multiple vineyards including some of the original plantings in Casablanca by Pablo Morande in 1982. The cool misty nights, hot sunny days, and light hand of the winemaker act as a prism to convert the grape into a complex and beautiful wine. The winemaker is Jorge Martinez and the farming is certified sustainable.

2019 Montsecano 'Refugio'

Grape: Pinot Noir
Region: Casablanca, Chile
Retail: $22

Single vineyard, brambly fruit and vegetal notes. In 2004, Julio Donoso returned to his native Casablanca after 20 years. During that time, he had studied Economics in Paris and built a successful photographic career in Europe and the USA. While in France, he met Andre Ostertag, a talented winemaker from Alsace, and they made the decision to establish Montsecano on the slopes of the Chilean coast, specifically in the dry lands of Casablanca. This region was deemed perfect for growing pinot noir.

2021 Manos Negras

Grapes: Malbec
Region: Mendoza, Argentina
Retail: $20

Manos Negras - ‘black hands,’ refers to how winemakers need to truly know the soil.

Alejandro Sejanovich is arguably Argentina's most knowledgeable viticulturist, having worked as vineyard director for Bodega Catena Zapata for 16 years, he pioneered high-altitude vineyard planting and conducted groundbreaking research on Mendoza Malbec clones.

With Manos Negras he combines his love of minerality, and altitude with a magical touch in the winery to produce some of the region’s most terroir-driven wines. Not only altitude, but also latitude play a part in the wines from Manos Negras.
