Julia Bailey Gulstine started Loop de Loop in 2012. She and her husband, Scott, focus on minimal-intervention wines grown in and around the Columbia Gorge. Julia was introduced to making wine by her grandmother. She was thrilled by the alchemy of it. Since then, she has been certified as a sommelier, worked as a wine buyer, and now is the fabulous winemaker at Loop de Loop. These wines are wild, zippy, brambly, and downright delicious.
