Save the date for our first artist and wine pairing. We’ve teamed up with our friends at Zinc Contemporary Gallery and Gabe Brown for a night of incredible art and wine. Select works from her upcoming show will be on hand and you peruse with something tasty in hand.

Enter a world where art and wine dance cheek to cheek in a delicate celebration of art, nature, and the evolving nature of joy! Halfseas Wine & Bottle Shop is thrilled to announce our collaboration with Zinc Contemporary to showcase the work of NY artist Gabe Brown alongside a curated collection of small production N. American wines!

Enliven your taste buds while feasting your eyes upon select works from Gabe Brown’s upcoming show “Invisible Sun”, a collection of paintings using mixed media of oil, watercolor, ink, pencil and wood.  “Gabe Brown is a contemporary artist currently based in New York. Her work encompasses a search for finding meaning in the unknown. Using a visual vocabulary derived from a world that often goes unnoticed, everyday events such as conversations between birds, forces that drive water, or the cellular structure of plant life, she begins to reinvent reality” – Zinc Contemporary.

Wines featured for this event include an edgy and exciting collection of piquette, rosé, white, and reds sourced from domestic winemakers whom we also consider to be artists working with nature in their own right, hailing from Washington, Oregon, California, and Maryland.

This tasting event is free, the wine will be delicious, we’ll have special club discounts, and you can come anytime 6-8pm.
