Join us at Halfseas for an amazing tasting with two Slovenian Makers:
Branimir Andelić - Owner, Skaramuča
Skaramuča, a renowned winery in Dalmatia, Croatia, was founded by Ivo Skaramuča, one of the first private wineries after Croatia’s independence. Located on the historic Peljesac Peninsula in Dingač, Skaramuča grows Plavac Mali on steep slopes overlooking the Adriatic Sea. These conditions produce deep, full-bodied wines with intense character. Ivo's son, Igor, and his wife Ivana Andelić now run the winery, continuing the legacy and sharing their exceptional wines globally.
Dejan Tomic - Winemaker, Sanctum
Dejan Tomic, the winemaker at Sanctum, brings a wealth of experience from his work in Serbia and Italy. After rejecting conventional winemaking styles in Serbia, he sought out natural wine methods in Piedmont, Italy. Now working at Sanctum with Marko, Dejan embraces minimal intervention to craft elegant, pure wines that highlight the beauty of Štajerska’s hilly terroir. Together, they continue to evolve the winery, producing wines that express both the region and their natural winemaking philosophy.
Tasting fee $25.
