In this class taught by Sommelier Janet Beeby we will explore the wonder and history of Port, Sherry & Madeira. This class will give you the building blocks to understand what goes into making these delicious fortified wines as well as the stories behind them and the foods that will pair well them. This is sometimes a misunderstood category and visions of grandma with a tiny crystal glass clutched in her hand come to mind, but there really is so much more to know – You are in for a treat. We do some tasting, make our own White Port Cocktail and of course there will be snacks – Gotta have snacks!
