The holidays are here, and Bubbles are for celebrating!
In this introductory class led by sommelier Janet Beeby, we’ll party with the best, from Champagne to Prosecco to Cava. We’ll arm wrestle about grower Champagne vs. négociant, and we’ll discuss why a flute in hand is worth – well, let’s just say it’s worth a refill.
We will be reviewing the origin of bubbles in wine, what makes certain wines similar, and what makes them different. We will learn about history, geography, science, and, most importantly, taste through exciting sparklers, make a bubbly cocktail and enjoy decadent, celebratory snacks!
